Charity suffereth long,
and is kind;
charity envieth not
vaunteth not itself,
is not puffed up,
doth not behave itself unseemly,
seeketh not her own,
is not easily provoked,
Rejoices not in iniquity,
but rejoiceth in the truth;
thinketh no evil,
beareth all things,
believeth all things,
hopeth all things,
endureth all things..... 1 Cor 13: 4-7

How beautiful is love defined in the Bible. Oft we do not to realise the amazing power of His love till we fall into the depths of sins and suffer from the consequences of it are we then awaken. How tragic is it at times for us to forsake such eternal love for the temporal things of this world. Yet it is in our weaknesses is His strength made perfect. It is in our weaknesses do we realise the multitude of His gracious love . It is in our weaknesses that He scoop us back from the lowest depths of hell and exalt us to the highest glory. It is in our weaknesses that we see the face of our Heavenly Father looking compassionately at us, understanding every bit of our iniquities. It is in our weaknesses that we feel the desperate yearning for our dear Saviour's blood to cleanse and make us pure in His Father sight once more. It is in our weaknesses that we understand others and learn to love more and more like Christ each day. It is also in weakness do we realise the how great a love it takes to love another.
Should we then look at our weaknesses bitterly? wallow in self pity? allow resentment or guilt to burden us? to allow them to hinder the progression of our life? Should we doubt that the Lord is unable to understand? No. He understands us cos He denied Himself at the cross. He did not sacrifice Himself at the cross for us because He felt like it. But He did it out of love for His Father, a self denying love.
Are you striving to love Him with this same love this day? Are you ready to love the special someone He had prepared for you with this same love? I'm sure you will be able to do so by His grace.For He had promised that His grace is always suffiuicent (2 Cor 12:9).
