Morning calls, a hotel service right at home

The early birds woke me on this overcast day. I rolled to my side ever-so-gently and opened one eye in a half wink just enough to take a peer at my little Angel. Her eyes with its doll-like length lashes (she prob got it from her dad...cos i have short stubby ones) were shut, but slight stirring of her feet suggested otherwise. The slight wiggling crescendoed to more vigorous kicks (Every so often my ribs get a morning call from them and they sure are unforgivably pain!!!!And its not funny when your great dream turns into a nightmare.) in which i had wisely moved myself out of the danger zone. As she emerged from slumberland, her misty grey eyes opened instantaneously with the excitement of another new day of exploring, discovering and learning. Though my eyes were just barely opened to witness the awakening of this Muffin, her cheeky trade mark smile spread across her face knowing that her sole food source is awake too. I made a foolish mistake by attempting a vain attempt to pretend sleep by turning my back to her. The next thing i knew, her chubby fingers somehow managed to grasp a handful of my tangled mane and pulled it with such force that it felt like a million of my precious locks had been snapped off. I proceeded to brushing off her still outstretched hand and snuggled towards Josh to be as far as possible from this little monkey. Aware that her second morning call had failed, she begun her singing lessons (which some people define it as screeching, me included when i'm totali sleep deprived). "Ah ba ba ba Ha da da da" that would go on and on and on with different sound levels and an occasional shriek of laughter.

And thats our three morning calls in the morning all packed into this little body. Anyone needs an alarm clock?

p.s she's feeling so much better now. And i'm so thankful that she's back to her normal cheeky self again. =)
