Busy Beesssssss
With Jo and Jemima (friends from SG) around for just a few days, my life changed from sedentary and peaceful to a mad rush of fun filled activities for the last few days. We have been to the hippy and alternate WestEnd markets, had an authentic Aussie BBQ with all the Aussies included, trekked up Mt Cotha in the dark, went shopping at Indooropilly, and visited an organic nursery that was not opened (much to my disappointment) etc. And its not over yet actually. We will be heading to the beach at Moololaba to splash around the beautiful turquoise water and eat the famous fish and chips tomorrow morning. And while i'm working on wednesday, they probably be going up to do some trekking at Mount Tamborine all in preparation for our big hike up Mount Barney with the whole youth group on Friday. To the unawares, Mount Barney is Queensland's 2nd tallest mountain and the entire trek will be approximately 14km. And as half of the trek would be a steep upclimb the mount, the entire trek might possibly take up to 10 plus hours to finish considering the breaks we would take on the way. It would be interesting to see how we go after Mount Barney. I will definitely keep you guys update on that. And for me now, I should so get ready Tashy and mine stuff for the beach tml. I just can't wait for the cold sea water to swish around me and for the waves to carry me under the cool Brissy sun. The best part is that I get to play in the ocean with my sister in laws and good friends who are always good company in and out of the ocean.
