As the cold sets in....

Winter seemed to have arrived in Melbourne according to Uniz's blog. Well, we are getting some really chilly nights here in Brissy too. Though there's no need for a heater here, the Doona (or also known as the duvet - a common form of bedcovering used mostly in winter)comes into handy now.

I remembered dreading the cold last winter but this year round, i was actually glad that the nights are getting colder. Reason is that for the last 18weeks, i have been sandwiched between Josh and Tasha every single night and it gets a tad too warm at times without an air con. Having slept in a air conditioned room for most of my life, its a drastic change to have no air con and being squashed between two "heaters". On second thoughts, going to bed with my two favourite people every night beside me is one of things that i look forward to every day (or night). Tasha would go to bed hours before us each night and whenever i get to bed beside her, she would automatically snuggle up to my side as if knowing acknowledging my presence. I would definitely miss that when she start sleeping by her own.

With winter setting in, the weather gets drier too. Tasha's skin esp around her face seem to be looking red and patchy. It also seems to feel quite scaley too. Hmm...do you guys out there know what sort of condition is this and what is the most natural way to treat this? would love to hear some advice. ANyways, there's just one more week for Josh at his internship, two more weeks till his thesis is due and 3 more for everything to be over. Can't wait for then, cos we are thinking of going away for a long 3-4 days drive towards the Bunyan mountains.

Before i forget, i'm thinking of submiting Tasha's pictures for a cutest baby competition. Deadline is on the 30th of this month. The grand price is 10grand and runner-ups get 5 grand worth of baby products. I'm not reali counting on winning (not that Tasha's not cute)but its no harm trying since there's always a possibility. Hoping to send in the application tomorrow. I reali got nothing better to do now to be doing all this things.....but thats the life of a SAHM(stay-at-home-mum)I'm not complaing cos i'm fulfilling the highest calling God can give to a woman and other than doing chores, i get to do things that i never have time for before. What more can i ask....=)

hey wei'er!
the photos were really funny! haha tasha's facial expressions are so varied.
anyway, hear that honey acts as a protective layer/moisturiser, but some people might be allergic to it. possible to test by putting a lil thin layer on the arm to check 1st

hey dar,

fresh aloe vera produces a very cool moisturizing effect. many use this 'natural' means to get healed after a sunburns. can read more about it to see if it is suitable for a baby's skin. =)

being a stay home mum, with Tasha and Josh, I would say is one of the highlights in your life. you go girl!

love you!
